This urn measures 4" x 3" x 1 1/2" and is 7 cubic inches in capacity. Any wood glue can be used for sealing this urn.
These Polish boxes are hand-crafted from seasoned Linden wood in several villages high in the Tatra region of the Carpathian Mountains of southern Poland. The skilled artisans are descendants of Tatra shepherds and farmers called Goral (Highlanders), and are recognized as the best in their profession. These master craftsmen proudly apply centuries-old traditions of hand-craftsmanship to each one of these Polish boxes. The use of feather joints, raised interior lining, and recessed hinges in the construction of each Polish box ensures its lasting value as a memorial urn. Each box is hand-decorated with one or more of the following techniques: hand-carving, brass-inlaying, image burning, or staining.
