Pennsylvania Bluestone is quarried from the rolling hills of the Appalachian Mountains in Eastern Pennsylvania. As indicated by its name, these stones are a consistant blue-gray in color and somewhat smooth in texture.
Thickness varies from stone to stone: 1-1/4" to 1-3/4" is common.
Carving the words into the stone produces depth to each letter which is then hand painted. Each stone is handpicked to compliment your choice of words.

Small: 6" x 8" - Maximum of 2 lines - 18 characters per line
Medium: 8" x 11" - Maximum of 4 lines - 18 characters per line
Large: 11" x 16" - Maximum of 6 lines - 18 characters per line
