Our brand new indoor/outdoor Pet Memorial Rock Urns are as durable as they are beautiful. The base has a threaded cap that allows the secure placement of cremated remains or keepsakes into the weather resistant urn. The rocks come in 3 different colors with a customized plaque to personalize the memorial. The all-weather rocks represent stability and longevity and help create a natural looking memorial that is in harmony with nature.
The rocks are made from molds of real rock that are hollow cast with reinforced concrete about one inch thick. The reinforced concrete process is decades old and used in a variety of high end structural construction projects. This same technology brings us detailed and durable pieces with the natural texture and feel of rock. All this, at a fraction of the weight of natural rock.
These rocks last as long as concrete. In the same manner as ancient Roman architecture is still around today, as long as there are no external forces to damage the piece, it will last for generations to come.
We use high quality manufacturing processes and materials to produce a detailed natural looking piece that will weather freeze-and-thaw cycles like natural stone. This means, even in harsh weather our pieces will be around for a very long time. To be more specific, we produce Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete pieces that will withstand over 300 freeze-and-thaw cycles, that's like testing it through 300 winters.
Each memorial urn features a beautiful brass-like or corian plaque that can be customized with your words. The standard plaques are 7.5" W x 5" T. It can have a maximum of 8 lines with a total of 30 characters (including spaces). It is not nbecessary to use all the lines and character spaces. Using more lines and characters results in reduction of the size of the characters. The corian plaque takes about 5 extra days for production.
For an extra cost of $175.00 an elegant bronze plaque can be made for this urn. Please allow 4 to 5 weeks for the manufacturer of the bronze plaque.
